Heathcliff [Heathcliff]
a character in the novel ↑Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. He is found as a baby and brought up by the family of Catherine Earnshaw. He develops a strong love for her, but because of his wild nature she will not marry him. He leaves, Catherine marries and he returns three years later to take ↑revenge on the people he blames for ruining his life.
