Edward Teller [Edward Teller]
(1908–2003) a US scientist who has been called the ‘father of the hydrogen bomb’. He was born in Hungary and became a US citizen in 1941. He worked on the first atom bomb during the ↑Manhattan Project and then led the team of scientists who created the first ↑hydrogen bomb, which was exploded in 1952.
