The Black Muslim organization was founded in 1930 and is officially named the Nation of Islam. Well-known members have included ↑Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali. A new group, the Lost-Found Nation of Islam, was organized in 1977 by Louis Farrakhan, who later became leader of the Nation of Islam.
