2 (in full trestle-table) a table consisting of a board or boards laid on trestles or other supports.
3 (in full trestle-work) an open braced framework to support a bridge etc.
4 (in full trestle-tree) Naut. each of a pair of horizontal pieces on a lower mast supporting the topmast etc.
