Greek Legend. the most important hero of Athens, son of Aegeus, King of Athens. He made his way through the Labyrinth at Crete (with Ariadne's help) and killed the Minotaur, killed Procrustes and other robbers, united the various states of Attica, fought the Amazons and married their princess, joined the Argonauts, and took part in the Calydonian boar hunt.
