   while still a teenager, Patricia Rivera was chosen "Miss Coahuila," then finished third in the "Miss México" pageant. This brought her to the attention of producer Gregorio Walerstein, who cast her in a major role in El Arracadas (1977). Since then, Rivera has appeared in a large number of films and direct-to-video productions, in addition to telenovelas and stage plays. She received a Best Supporting Actress Ariel for Tiempo de lobos, and was later nominated as Best Actress for Rosa de dos aromas.
