It is used to treat mild or moderate pain, such as headache, toothache, and rheumatic pain, and as an antipyretic in colds, influenza, etc. It is administered by mouth and may cause digestive upsets; overdosage causes liver damage. Trade names: Calpol, Panadol, Panaleve.
