Korsakoff or Korsakov Sergei Sergeievich (1853-1900)
Russian psychiatrist. Korsakoff was one of the founders of the Russian school of psychiatry. After service at a clinic for nervous diseases, he published his classic description of the syndrome now known as Korsakoff's psychosis or Korsakoff's syndrome.
