vi·bris·sae (vi-brisґe) sing. vibrisґsa [L. pl. of vibrissa] 1. [TA] the hairs growing in the vestibular region of the nasal cavity. 2. long coarse hairs growing around the nose (muzzle) of an animal, as of the dog or cat.
