Micromonosporaceae
Mi·cro·mo·nos·po·ra·ceae (mi″kro-mon″o″spə-raґse-e) a phenotypically diverse family of bacteria of the suborder Micromonosporineae, order Actinomycetales, consisting of aerobic, gram-positive, non–acid-fast, sporogenic soil organisms that form nonfragmenting, branched, and septate hyphae. Some species in the genera Actinoplanes and Micromonospora produce antibiotics.
