Glycyphagus

Gly·cyph·a·gus (gli-sifґə-gəs) [Gr. glykys sweet + phagein to eat] a genus of free-living mites of the family Glycyphagidae. G. domesґticus is the food mite, a cause of grocer's itch. Spelled also Glyciphagus.
