Dahlberg, Edward
(1900-77)
   American novelist. Born in Boston, he lived a vagabond existence and eventually settled in Europe. His novels Bottom Dogs and From Flushing to Calvary reflect his early childhood experiences. His Those who Perish deals with the impact of Nazism on a small American Jewish community. His later works include Can these Bones Live, Flea of Sodom, The Sorrows of Priapus and Truth Is More Sacred.
