Some examples of luminous phenomena are the 'clear white fire' or 'psychic light' which reportedly emanates from certain mediums, so-called spectral lights, and phosphorescent wounds. The notion of luminous phenomenon should not be confused with " body photism, which is a hallucinated patch of light perceived as emanating from one's own body during " out-of-body experiences.
