Toirdhealbhach m

Irish Gaelic: probably originally a byname meaning ‘instigator’, from toirdhealbh prompting + the Gaelic suffix -ach. The belief that this is a derivative of the name of the Norse god of thunder, Porr, is probably no more than folk etymology.
