Milena f
Czech: from a short form of various compound names containing the element mil grace, favour (cf. MILES (SEE Miles)). The name is now fairly common in Italy, where it is often assumed to be a contraction of Maria + Elena. In fact it was little known before 1900, when King Victor Emmanuel III married Elena of Montenegro, whose mother was called Milena.
