Gráinne f
Irish Gaelic: of uncertain origin, possibly a derivative of grán grain or gráin disgust. In Irish legend Gráinne was the daughter of King Cormac; she was beloved by the hero Finn, but eloped with Finn's nephew Diarmait. Finn pursued them over great distances, and eventually brought about the death of Diarmait, after which Gráinne killed herself. The name has sometimes been Anglicized as GRACE (SEE Grace).
