Oswin m
English: 19th-century revival of an Old English personal name composed of the elements ōs god + wine friend. St Oswin was a 7th-century king of Northumbria, a cousin of King Oswald, who is likewise venerated as a martyr. However, the reasons for his death at the hand of his brother Oswy seem to have been political and personal rather than religious.
