Edwina f
English: 19th-century coinage, representing a Latinate feminine form of EDWIN (SEE Edwin) or, in at least one case, of EDWARD (SEE Edward). Edwina Ashley, a descendant of Lord Shaftesbury who became the wife of Earl Mountbatten, was so named in honour of Edward VII; the king had originally wished her to be called Edwardina.
