Kenzo Takada was born in Japan and was the first Japanese designer to open a house in Paris in 1970. His interpretation of the traditional kimono brought him instant global success in the womenswear arena. Known for his unique mix of patterns, Kenzo also designs childrenswear, menswear, and home products.
