Capri pant
This tapered-leg pant that is above the ankle in length is credited to Emilio Pucci who, in 1949, sold them in his boutique on the Isle of Capri. The 1950s California beach lifestyle adopted the capri pant, as did designers of American sportswear such as Claire McCardell. The capri pant became a style that, to this day, continuously cycled in and out of fashion.
