A rich merchant from Aegina, mentioned by Herodotus, who has been linked to a dedication on an anchor at Gravisca and grafitti on Attic pottery. This act can be seen as the counterpart to the Etruscan inscription on a Laconian cup at Aegina by an Etruscan trader, Plavtena, from Caere.
