PRIEST
The Etruscan priest is best classified as an augur (haruspex), a ritual specialist who examines and divines the signs of nature to interpret divine will following the prescriptions of the disciplina etrusca. Such figures with distinctive staffs are seen in Etruscan wall painting (most notably the Tomb of the Augurs at Tarquinia).
