the Yellow Book FINANCE informal Admission of Securities to Listing, a book produced by the London Stock Exchange containing the rules that companies must follow if they want their shares to be traded there:
• The Stock Exchange is considering a change to its Yellow Book rules to enable young biotechnology companies to be floated (= have their shares sold ) in London even if they are years away from making profits.
