Iannas
(reigned c. 1590 BC)
Greek name given by the Hebrew historian Josephus, who derived it from Manetho for one of the Hyksos kings of Dynasty 15. A stela fragment recently discovered at Avaris bears the cartouches of Khayan and names his eldest son, Ianassi, presumably to be identified with the future king. Nothing is known of his actual reign.
