Apapyrusthat contains a literary tale set during the reign of Khufu of Dynasty 4 but predicts the eventual triumph of Dynasty 5. The beginning and end of the text are missing. The king is entertained by tales of the feats of magicians, each told by one of his sons. The final magician foretells the end of the dynasty with Khufu’s grandson and the advent of Dynasty 5. The papyrus is named after its earliest known owner and is now housed in the Berlin Egyptian Museum.
