Manetho names three Nubian rulers, Shabaqo, Shebitqo, and Taharqo, who reigned for 40 or 44 years. Contemporary monuments confirm these three kings, as well as two previous rulers, Kashtaand Piye, and a final one, Tantamani, whose rule was recognized in parts of Egypt.
