Mackay, Constance D'Arcy
(1887-1966)
   At the turn of the century, she was an advocate for community pageantry as a way of bringing diverse populations together. She was also a leading exponent of children's theatre.* Mackay published over 30 volumes of plays for children in addition to handbooks for amateur production and a 1917 classic, Little Theatre in the United States.
